Warranty

DermLite® devices purchased after March 2023 carry a 5-year warranty* from the date of purchase.

Warranty Coverage
This warranty covers parts and labor and will be honored based on the condition of proper use of the device and following the operating instructions. During the warranty period, defects in the device will be repaired free of charge as long as the malfunction is due to defective material or workmanship. This warranty does not cover loss, damage due to wear and tear, negligent use, hard impacts, missing parts, liquid intrusion, 6v lithium batteries past 6 months, lithium rechargeable batteries beyond 1 year, scratched or chipped lens, unauthorized repairs, improper cleaning, or damages incurred during shipping to our repair facility.
DermLite IceCap® disposable covers with any manufacturer defects will be replaced within 30 days of purchase.
Third-party products including cameras are exclusively covered by the warranty of the third party (e.g. the camera manufacturer).

Discontinued DermLite Devices
Any defective DermLite HÜD® scopes covered under warranty will be replaced by the newer DermLite HÜD 2 home dermatoscope.
Please be aware that the following long-discontinued DermLite devices are no longer supported, and users should be encouraged to upgrade to a current model: DermLite alumina, DermLite II Fluid, DermLite II hybrid m, DermLite II HR, DermLite II multispectral, DermLite II Pro, DermLite DL3, DermLite FOTO, DermLite Cam®, DermLite Platinum, DermLite Pro DP-R.

Rechargeable batteries, spare parts, accessories (including smartphone adapters, pouches);
2-year warranty: DermLite HÜD, DermLite Foto, DermLite Foto II Pro, DermLite Foto X, DermLite Cam, Syris® v900L;
All other products purchased from 1 July 2018 through 31 March 2023 carry a 10-year warranty from the date of purchase.
Unclaimed products sent in for repair will be discarded 1 year after receipt.
