How to use your camera with a DermLite II

Extend spacer on DermLite II so that silver mark on top dial is at 12:00 position.

Make sure glass plate on DLII spacer is clean

Mount lens adapter to camera

Thread DermLite II to lens adapter

Place camera in automatic or P mode

Turn on camera macro function

Turn camera flash off

Turn on DermLite

Place camera/DermLite combination on skin lesion to be photographed (make sure glass plate is flat against skin)

Lightly press camera shutter button to auto focus and all the way down to take picture
